Last week we went to Great Grandma's House....
This is what you will ALWAYS find. Grandpa reading books to the kids. After the fall off the swing (weeks of therapy) maybe he figured that he is not a kid anymore and can not play like a 4 year old. Neither Shayla nor Mckenzie are sure they want to share their Grandpa.
Grandma on the other hand is ALWAYS trying to feed you or make sure the kids have something to eat when they are there or when they leave.
Don't forget all the hand-me-down toys that they keep on hand for all the Great grand kids to play with. The kids love to go to grandma Carter's so much that they never want to leave.
But no matter what Grandma and Grandpa are always there and they love all their grand and great grand kids. What a joy it is for my kids to be able to know and play with their great grand parents. This is something they will never forget I just wish we had more time to make it over to Orem to spend more time with them.
